NOTES: 

1.  Each of the below Webinars will provide 1.5 CEU hours for AIA as well as 1.5 Credentialing Maintenance CMP hours for USGBC/GBCI.

2.  Lunch will be provided to those attending the entire day.  Those not attending all 4 webinars will be responsible for their own lunch.

 

COST:

1.  Full day is $75 for members and $125 for non-members.

2.  Individual webinars are $25 for members and $40 for non-members.

2.  The Evolution of LEED: Insights into Rating System Updates: Introduction to Evolution of LEED (9:30 am-10:50 am)

Join USGBC for this webinar, giving you insight and tools for understanding the development cycle of LEED and important updates to the rating systems. The webinar includes an overview that will highlight components of LEED undergoing important evolution in future years: Regionalization, Integrated Process, Materials & Resources, Performance, Weightings Part 1: Process and Methods, and Weightings Part 2: Results of Point Allocation. With this webinar, attendees will have the initial  information needed to understand the development process of LEED – and be prepared for integrating updates to  the rating system into their professional practice.

 

3.  Daylighting and IEQ Credit 8.1: Understanding the May Addendum & Achieving Success in Daylighting (11 am-12:25 pm)

Join USGBC for this engaging webinar session discussing the May addenda revisions to IEQ Credit 8.1: Daylight and Views—Daylight, and how these revisions are intended to help project teams earn the credit. Gain a deeper understanding of daylight best practices as our subject matter experts walk through examples and the available USGBC tools and resources. Upon completion of this webinar session, attendees will be able to articulate what changes were made to IEQc8.1, outline strategies for achieving the credit, and document credit achievement.

5. Health and Active Design through Green Building (1:10 pm-2:35pm)

Join USGBC for an engaging, innovative webinar session on the benefits of active design in green building.  A growing body of research suggests that evidence-based architectural and urban design strategies can positively impact public health by promoting regular physical activity and healthy eating. Active design provides architects and urban designers with strategies for creating healthier buildings, streets, and urban spaces, based on the latest academic research and best practices in the field.

 

6. Meeting IEQp1: Common Pitfalls and How to Avoid Them (2:45 pm-4:10 pm)

As project teams attempt to achieve the requirements of IEQp1, they often encounter common issues surrounding calculations and documentation. This session will provide strategies for HVAC design professionals to overcome these obstacles in LEED projects and successfully meet the minimum indoor air quality requirements set by ASHRAE Standard 62.1-2007 and IEQp1 in multiple building types.
